What’s Hot and Not for 2011: HOT – Arctic Cat F8 EXT

Last season the new 800cc HO motor from Cat wowed us and it was one of the HOT items for 2010. Take that motor and put it in an EXT configuration and you’ve got the HOT item for 2011. Arctic Cat’s F8 EXT has to be the most versatile trail sled in their lineup. You get the smooth(er) ride of the longer suspension, the sure-grip of a 144-Cobra track, matched with the smooth 800 HO motor that revs like a 600, but has gobs of torque. Arctic Cat’s IRP (Infinite Rider Position) technology in the seat and handlebars allow them to be adjusted to your personal preference. IRP is one of our favorite features in the industry and while others have tried with adjustable steering, Arctic Cat is the only manufacturer to get it right. All this adds up to one HOT machine for 2011.
