For the 2012 snocross racing season, Polaris gives their 600 IQ Racer a retro graphics package. Most everything else is unchanged, but it does feature Walker Evans Piggyback front shocks, Walker Evans Needle Coil-Over front track shock, and Walker Evans Compression Adjustable rear track shock. The motor is their 599cc Liberty carbureted engine. Polaris Race Director Tom Rager told MaxSled.com that most of the teams will keep the retro decals on the sled and add their sponsor decals, while some of the major teams do skin their sleds in team colors.
Personally I like the retro Polaris look with the white and blue dominating and a splash of red here and there. While we see this as being the tail-end of the life of this chassis, it is still winning races and should continue to be a contender throughout this season.
